Popular R&B star, Chris Brown, has won his second Grammy Awards after 13 years.
At the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, held on February 2, 2025, Chris Brown secured his second Grammy win, taking home the award for Best R&B Album with his 11th studio release, “11:11 (Deluxe)”. This achievement marks his second win in this category, following his 2011 victory for “F.A.M.E.”
The Best R&B Album category featured a competitive lineup of nominees such as Usher for “Coming Home”, “Revenge” by Muni Long, “Good Life” by Ledisi and Lalah Hathaway – “Vantablack”

Chris Brown’s “11:11 (Deluxe)” stood out among these contenders, showcasing his dynamic vocal abilities and versatility. The album includes notable tracks such as “Residuals,” which earned a nomination for Best R&B Performance, and “Sensational,” featuring Davido and Lojay, nominated for Best African Music Performance.
Asides Davido’s “Blow My Mind” and Lojay’s “Monalisa”, Chris Brown has collaborated with other Afrobeats artistes for over seven times with the likes of Wizkid with the song title “African Bad Gyal” (2017), ”Shabba”, “Call Me Every Day”, Sarz and Rema and Shenseea with the song title “Diana.”
This recognition underscores Brown’s enduring influence in the R&B genre and his commitment to musical excellence.
