Portrait and Fine Art photographer, Kadara Enyeasi, takes the intangible element of mood to express his feelings in half current.

Half current the exhibition, is a photography, interactive video and light installation which features a collection of 12 photographs, that are monochrome, ‘jarring’, layered and complex in mood. The installation opens 6pm on Saturday the 15th of August at a Whitespace Lagos and will involve a visual and interactive performance by the artist.

Kadara would like the viewers to open their minds, let out distractions and allow the images to speak for themselves; working their imagination. He uses the images to tell the stories of his un-articulated and contradictory feelings, which he embraces as the only way to express himself. half current is organized by AWCA – A Whitespace Creative Agency, working in close collaboration with the artist.

ARTIST BACKGROUND.

Kadara Enyeasi is a Lagos based Photographer with an unbelievable ability for thought and storytelling through his camera lens. He started his photography journey, after he was given a camera as a gift while still in secondary school. His recent work focuses on a style of critical photography that examines sexuality, human psychology and the conflicts between western liberalism and African conservatism.
