It has been learnt that Sorry Not Sorry hitmaker, Demi Lovato is still heavily dependent on her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, to remain sober.

Valderrama has remained a constant in her life after her return to Los Angeles and sources close to her reveal that although the pair hasn’t been seen together in public since Lovato returned to the West Coast, she and her ex-boyfriend communicate regularly.

It would be recalled that Valderrama was a shoulder to lean on for Lovato after she had the recent drug overdose that saw her getting hospitalised. It is also learnt that he visited her following her subsequent rehab stint and even now that she is out, he still continues to do so.

A report by TMZ claims the two talk several times a week and meet up as well although their relationship shouldn’t be mistaken for a romantic one but more of a supportive friendship.

Lovato currently splits her time between a halfway house where she spends 3 days per week and a private residence in Los Angeles. This arrangement allows her to go to the gym, run errands and attend multiple AA meetings.

In recent days, Lovato has also been spotted out with clothing guru Henry Levy, who she met in rehab several years ago.
