Iconic rappers Eminem and Snoop Dogg will perform together at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.

The performance which will take place in Newark, New Jersey would be their first collaboration at the VMAs in over 20 years.
Rapper Eminem, last performed at the VMAs 12 years ago, while Snoop Dogg did so 17 years ago.
According to MTV, the collaboration will be the “first of its kind,” featuring classics like the duo’s song “From the D 2 The LBC.”
Their performance is expected to draw inspiration from the Otherside metaverse, which was created using the software of the video game creator.
According to their website, Otherside’s game ” “blends mechanics from massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs) and web3-enabled virtual worlds.”
The two rappers are the latest addition to this year’s VMAs’ star-studded lineup, which also includes Nicki Minaj, Anitta, Lizzo, and BLACKPINK.
Earlier this year, Eminem and Snoop Dogg performed together at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, where they joined Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar.
Reports state that Johnny Depp may perform at the VMAs.
