Emperor Geezy Dabbles Into Nollywood
Foremost music executive, Festus Ehimare, professionally known as Emperor Geezy, has added more hats to his career, dabbling into the Nigerian movie industry.
The music honcho, who is renowned for breaking out hit stars such as Sugar Boi, Kizz Daniel, among others, recently debuted as an executive movie producer with his latest flick dubbed, Suga Suga.
The movie which is produced by New York Film Academy alumnus Louiza Williams and directed by Richard Iboyi, follows the story of a family torn apart by a promiscuous billionaire father whose whims bring drama and chaos to the entire plot. The romantic comedy features superstars like Wole Ojo, Charles Inojie, Christian Paul, among others.
Emperor Geezy, who recently reunited with Kizz Daniel following their 5-year feud, says that the project was a result of his relentless drive towards pursuing his passions and ideas.
A native of Edo State, Emperor Geezy, has also been recognized by the film industry in previous years. In 2016, he won his first international award, at the Nollywood Europe Golden Awards in Germany, for the Best Record Label Executive of the year.
