15 Throwback Nigerian Hits
Today, I’m in a reminiscent mood. Mostly because I was getting my hair done and some jams from way back when I actually enjoyed Nigerian music came on. Listening to these Nigerian hits got me thinking about how easy it was to go out and genuinely have fun. I’d dance all night and not feel the least bit tired because every track was a hit on its own. Unlike today, where you hear the same song with different people’s voices on it – tiring.
Party Jams aside, some of these hits were great for just chilling as well. Today, there are very few Nigerian songs I can listen to “just because”.
Because I’m so generous, I’m sharing fifteen of my favorite throwback Nigerian hits so you can enjoy a little bit of this nostalgia as well.
DISCLAIMER: These songs are not arranged in any particular order. Just placed them as they came to mind. Also, video quality may not be so great on some videos (they’re old – what do you expect?)
