The people of Are-Ekiti, especially the family of the late High Chief Johnson Ojo Anisulowo and the late Omogbemile Olaofe, will on Friday, June 20, 2025, bid a final farewell to Queen Bosede Grace Adebiyi, wife of the Alare of Are-Ekiti, Oba Jacob Boluwade Adebiyi, as she is laid to rest.

Fondly known as Olori EyesOrun Bosede, she passed away on February 19, 2025, leaving behind a legacy defined by strength, compassion, and devotion to her people.

She is survived by her husband, children, great-grandchildren, a brother, and several cousins.

Her passing has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. As a queen, Olori EyesOrun Bosede was revered for her admirable qualities, which endeared her to the people of Are-Ekiti and beyond.

Together with the Alare, her influence extended far beyond the palace walls, as she played a vital role in championing the welfare of the community and uplifting the less privileged.

The burial ceremony is expected to draw dignitaries, including traditional rulers, government officials, and well-wishers from Ekiti and neighboring regions.
