The Camera Is Me 3.0: Joself Pictures Empowering Nigeria’s Future Leaders
Teenagers within the residence of Maya, Ikorodu were present at the third edition of the Camera Is Me event that took place on Saturday, 5th of December 2020.
The Seminar cum empowerment program which is initiated by Mr Joseph Adeleke, the CEO of Joself Pictures Studio, a Film and Photography company situated at Maya, Ikorodu, Lagos .
The program was aimed at sensitizing teenagers on how to discover and develop their skills to achieve success. The even,t which had competitions in story writing, portrait sketching and acting left the winners in awe as they each went home with a cash prize of 25,000 naira each.
Esther Maduakor from Front Runner City College won the Acting category. Fidelia Ekoja from INCCACDI won at Story Writing while Alaba Ikumadayi from Rinext Blossom School won at Portrait Sketching.
NEGV Prime Concept LTD awarded the winner of acting, Esther Maduakor and the first runner up, Gift a scholarship at NEGV Acting Institute.
The event also had the presence of highly reputable persons such as the likes of Nollywood filmmaker Dr Henry Obidi, Nollywood actress Priscilla Obidi, Art Director Daddy Ejido, Dammy Jare CEO Dew creative media, Beatrice Salau, HR/psychologist, Tioluwalogo OlaKunbi-Black, Founder of Tech Trybe Africa, Sami Tunji, Freelance/Editor, Akinwale Akinyoade, Social Media Executive and Content Producer for Guardian Life, Adeojo Oluwaseun Alaba Visual Artist.
