Excitement as Egbe releases ‘The Women’
Blessing Egbe’s new film, The Women, is currently making appreciable runs in cinemas nationwide, which started on Friday, September 29, 2017. Early cinema-goers, who have seen the movie, commend the production, as well as the acting and have been recommending it to friends.
The Women, which is coming after Egbe’s other hit, Lekki Wives, deals with the things women, as well as their husbands, do behind closed doors. The Women features top class actors like Omoni Oboli, Kate Henshaw, Rita Dominic, Ufuoma Mcdermot, and Obiang, who are apt with their portrayals of their various characters. The men, who also strut in The Women, are Kalu Ikeagwu, Femi Branch, Tony Monjaro and a host of others.
While speaking at the press and guests’ screening of the new film, Egbe spoke of the cooperation of her friends, as well as those of other members of the cast and crew, which made the film a pleasant experience that it is. She also asked film-loving Nigerians to go all out and see The Women.

Egbe has done movies about women in the past. From The Rivals to Two Brides and Lekki Wives, she has shown herself a producer with an eye for women’s issues, as she continues to chart a path towards better relationships among men and women. The Women has continued to hold audience’s spellbound.
