“Rumour Has It”: New Cast, New Storyline?

Just when we were getting a hang of the NdaniTV programme, Rumour Has It, they have returned with major changes.

Rumour Has It Season 1, was a great show that got Nigerians glued to the seats. The programme is centred around Obi Obi (played by Uru Eke), a celebrity gossip blogger, who has gotten entangled in a lot of mess based on her decisions.

Judging from the official trailer, things seem to have taken another dimension (or does it?).

We see a brand-new cast with Linda Ihuoma Ejiofor playing the role of Dolapo, the highly successful C.E.O of an NGO. However, Blossom Chukwujekwu and Toni Tones, as well as Uru Eke, seem to be missing. Instead, we see new actors such as Efa Iwara, Jemima Osunde, Elozonam Ogbolu and Mawuli Gazor. Although Dolapo makes reference to Obi we see no sign of her. Do the new cast take up replacements or are they part of a new storyline?

We expect this season to be edgier and scandalous.
