Genevieve Nnaji’s Lionheart To Premiere In Nigeria?
After Genevieve Nnaji broke her long silence to not only feature in a film but to make one titled Lionheart, it has attracted a lot of buzz.
The film was the first Nigerian production to be bought by the international streaming company, Netflix shining the limelight on not just African film industry but putting the limelight on Nigeria particularly.
The film although set in Nigeria had its first premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and now the anticipated film if going by her tweet, is coming home to Nigeria and will premiere on 21 December.

After the announcement via her Twitter page, Nnaji has set everybody clamouring and thirsty for more details on the venue and of course if it will be a themed premiere as this year has witnessed a lot of those.
Although reportedly the film will be leaving Netflix on 4 January, her post has brought in more suspense to fans.
Lionheart centres around an intelligent, competent but overlooked young woman who must find a way to save her father’s failing transport business.

The film features the best in Nollywood like Pete Edochie, Nkem Owoh, Kalu Ifeagwu, Genevieve herself and other noteworthy stars.
We can only wait albeit impatiently to see what happens in the next six days.
