Last month was a September to remember as the media was hit with different news, some good, some bad, but all-in-all leaving us with memories of September 2022. On our part, here are some of the top stories that rounded up the month.

Everyone Gets A House!
Over here, we are actively rooting for Afrobeats and Nigerian artistes as they continue to make us proud. This past week was also filled with monumental achievements as not one, two, but three different artistes came out to unveil their new homes to their many fans and well-wishers.
Omah Lay took the lead as pictures of his new property flooded the internet, and many fans took to sharing their congratulations and prayers with him.
Later, Kizz Daniel unveiled his new purchase on his Instagram story, showing off his new home to the world. Finally, Bella Shmurda rounded off the announcements, also showing off his brand new home to the world.

Bridgerton Lovers, Get In Here!
With Bridgerton season 3 in production, Netflix broke some good news for fans of the show, teasing a soon-to-be-released spinoff.
The new show, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, follows beloved Queen Charlotte as she finds love and becomes the reigning Queen.
The teaser episode of the show reveals Amarteifio meeting her future husband, King George, in a somewhat “unladylike” attempt to climb a garden wall.
While Netflix’s yet to confirm a release date for the project, fingers crossed it comes before its intended 2023 release of Bridgerton Season 3.

Can We Get A Break From Infidelity?
This was a September to remember as news of infidelity broke and rebuilt the internet almost weekly.
More recently, a woman identified as Zanda Ada took to social media to accuse lifestyle influencer Sophia Egbueje of crashing her marriage.
Ada allegedly claimed that Sophia was responsible for her husband abandoning her and her kids and also showed off their alleged relationship on social media.
Sophia, on the other hand, didn’t respond to the allegations except for posting another picture of the same bracket Ada claimed belonged to her husband.
Anyway! Here’s us sipping this tea and waiting for more details to unfold eagerly.

Sex for Grades again?
The BBC documentary Sex For Grades came under scrutiny again after investigative journalist David Hundeyin published a story with added details and proof that showed Kiki Mordi was not the brains behind the project and only a contributor who took the spotlight.
Both David and Kiki have received fire from opposing parties, with Kiki maintaining her stance that her story has never changed and David releasing more screenshots and receipts to verify his alleged claim.
For the rest of us, we are content to watch as the drama unfolds because there are three sides to every story “your side, my side and the truth.”
