Stella Damasus Opens Up On Failed Marriage
During a recent conversation with Teju Babyface, Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus, shared her experience of a brief eight-month marriage with her best friend. Despite describing themselves as ‘fantastic friends’, their attempt at being a couple did not succeed. Damasus was a choir member, and she revealed that the decision to get married was influenced by the pressure from her church, believing it to be ‘God’s will’ for them to be together.
However, she now acknowledges that giving in to this pressure was a mistake. In spite of the challenges, Damasus and her former husband handled their separation amicably and still maintain a positive relationship. Cardi B Throws Mic At Fan
During her performance of the song ‘Up’ at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas on July 29, 2023, Cardi B encountered a disruptive incident, when a fan threw a drink at her. In response, the Grammy-winning rapper swiftly retaliated by tossing her microphone toward the person responsible for the disturbance. The microphone made contact with the fan, leading security to promptly remove them from the concert premises. Cardi B continued her set but was visibly affected by the disruption.
Regrettably, this is not the first time she has faced such incidents during her performances, as she previously experienced a similar occurrence in 2018 when a water bottle was thrown at her during a show in New York City. As of now, Cardi B has not issued any statement or comment regarding the recent Las Vegas incident.
