This revelation has been a difficult one for Gomez, who has previously discussed her health challenges.
In 2017, she underwent a kidney transplant to treat lupus, an autoimmune disease that can cause severe health issues.
More recently, in 2022, she shared that the medication she takes for bipolar disorder might also interfere with her ability to have a safe pregnancy.

Despite these setbacks, Gomez remains hopeful and open to other paths to parenthood.
She has expressed interest in surrogacy or adoption, saying, “It’s not necessarily the way I envisioned it, but I’m excited for what that journey will look like.”
