Keke Palmer Granted Temporary Restraining Order Against Darius Jackson
According to RadarOnline, a judge granted Keke Palmer a temporary restraining order against Darius Jackson on November 10, 2023. The order also grants Palmer sole custody of their son, Leodis, “until further notice.”
Jackson was ordered to turn over a handgun to local law enforcement and is not allowed within 100 yards of Palmer or their son. He is also prohibited from contacting Palmer in any way.
Palmer filed for the restraining order earlier this month, alleging that Jackson had been physically and emotionally abusive to her throughout their two-year relationship. She also accused him of threatening to take their son away from her.
Jackson has denied all of Palmer’s allegations.
The temporary restraining order will remain in place until a final hearing on the matter is held.
In court documents obtained by RadarOnline, Palmer accuses Jackson of “lunging at [her] neck and face,” “knocking [her] backwards over the couch,” and “stealing [her] phone out of [her] hands” in a November 5 incident. She also alleges that Jackson choked and slammed her onto the stairs in February 2022, and that he has destroyed her property, used profane language, and physically hit her in front of their infant son.
Palmer says she ended the relationship with Jackson in October 2023 due to the abuse. She is seeking sole legal and physical custody of their son, Leodis.
The case is scheduled for a hearing on December 5, 2023.
