The Miss World Nigeria 2025 pageant, held on April 4 at the prestigious Federal Palace Hotel, unfolded in splendour.
Organised by the Silverbird Group, the event drew Nigeria’s elite for an unforgettable evening of elegance and empowerment.
The night saw Miss Osun, Joy Mojisola Raimi, win the coveted crown, besting Miss Ebonyi, Miss Abuja, Miss Abia, and Miss Imo in the final round of the competition.
Miss Raimi will now represent Nigeria at the 72nd Miss World pageant to be held in India this May.

The 24-year-old University of Port Harcourt graduate told a rousing story about how growing up without a mother and enduring harassment from her caregiver strengthened her resolve to help others. She founded the ‘Love for Humanity’ project to help spread love and restore faith in humanity.
One of the evening’s true highlights came when Lady Maiden Alex-Ibru, Publisher and Chief Executive Officer of The Guardian, took to the stage. Her presence, poise and powerful elegance, added weight to the night’s purpose, celebrating beauty, intellect, and the strength of Nigerian women.
Standing alongside Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, Chairman of the Silverbird Group, and the newly crowned Miss World Nigeria, Miss Joy Raimi, Lady Alex-Ibru embodied the grace and influence that continue to define her storied legacy in media and public service.
Also in attendance were Mr Guy Murray-Bruce, Vice President of the Silverbird Group; Lady Ada Chukwudozie, Chairman of the Board at Keystone Bank Limited; and Mrs Nnenna Anyiam Okoro, Executive Director at Keystone Bank. Their combined presence reinforced the pageant’s blend of glamour with meaningful purpose.
