A few days ago, he revealed to Punch Newspapers about his journey while referring to the Industry as “fake.” He said that in order to survive, he ran a showroom at Ikeja, Lagos state before he birthed Limpopo which took him to International fame.
“It got to a point when I had to tell myself that I love music and I needed to go back. I promised myself that I would make sure I get it right the second time. At that point, I had hit songs already and I made a lot of money from the industry but everything was finished because new people would always come into the industry.”
