The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and his wife, Folashade Ashley Adegoke, have welcomed a baby boy.

The monarch announced the arrival of the child on his social media pages on Tuesday, stating that both mother and child are doing well.
The Ooni expressed his gratitude to God Almighty and the spirits of his ancestors for the safe delivery.

“Hearty congratulations to the entire house of Oduduwa and Olori Folashade, who today birthed a prince from the mother side of Ooni Adagba royal compound of Lafogido ruling house and father side of Ooni Agbedegbede royal compound of Giesi ruling house combined to the royal throne of Oduduwa,” he wrote on Instagram.
The childbirth comes six months after the Ooni welcomed a set of twins with Tobi Philips, his third wife.

She is said to be number four among the wives of the monarch. The other wives include Mariam Anako, Elizabeth Akinmuda, Temitope Adesegun, and Ronke Ademiluyi.
