Nigerian music icon Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has unveiled a new management team as part of efforts to reposition his career and expand his influence within and beyond Africa’s entertainment industry.
The announcement was made on Monday through a statement released by his team and shared on the singer’s official Instagram page. According to the statement, the move represents a major transition aimed at refining and amplifying all aspects of the artist’s brand.
“We are pleased to officially announce a major chapter in the legendary career of Nigerian music icon, Innocent Ujah Idibia, known as 2Baba,” the statement said. “This exciting transition comes with the unveiling of a new management team, carefully assembled to reinvent and amplify every facet of 2Baba’s brand.”
The team said its focus will extend beyond 2Baba’s past achievements to include future creative collaborations, brand partnerships, and global engagements. They also pointed to the singer’s influence in shaping Afro-pop over a career that spans more than three decades.

2Baba, best known for hit songs like African Queen, expressed optimism about the transition, describing it as a step aligned with growth and vision.
