Annie Idibia deletes all Instagram posts after 2Baba’s outing with Natasha

Actress Annie Macaulay-Idibia has returned to Instagram after weeks of silence, but not without a major move, she cleared out her entire Instagram page.
The move, which happened early Thursday morning, comes just days after her ex-husband, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, was seen shopping at a high-end boutique with Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
The actress, who had kept a low profile since the announcement of her separation from the legendary singer broke in January, left fans guessing with no posts, no captions, and no explanation.
But it didn’t come out of nowhere. This digital disappearance comes on the heels of rocky breakup that’s played out messily in public.

Back in January, 2Baba shocked fans with an Instagram post, “I and Annie Macaulay have been separated for a while now and currently filed for divorce.”
Even though he later deleted the post, the African Queen singer went live on his page to confirm the news, “No one hacked my account. I said what I said. I come in peace.”
Things got even more real when the couple unfollowed each other on social media, drawing a digital line under what had been one of Nigeria’s most followed love stories.
Annie, who once starred in his African Queen video and married him in 2012, has openly shared the emotional toll of the relationship, including dealing with infidelity and personal struggles.
In one episode of Young, Famous & African, she opened up about a miscarriage and feeling sidelined in her own marriage.
Since then, 2Baba seems to have moved on. A viral video from March 25 showed him and Natasha Osawaru at Seyi Vodi’s fashion store.
Natasha could be heard saying, “Came shopping. Wearing this to parliament on Monday.”
It followed a viral video from February where 2Baba was seen proposing to Natasha, sparking outrage and mixed reactions online. The singer’s family was reportedly concerned about his sudden moves.
Fans are now speculating Annie’s social media wipe might be her way of saying she’s done.
As one X user @Olayinka put it, “When a woman clears her whole page like that, just know she’s entering a new era. Annie no dey play.”
“The rebranding I want,” one @oghenetehjiri__ wrote, “Never too late to start all over,” another said.
“We love and miss you so much @annieidibia1,” a fan added.
One follower, @sirleocarter kept it simple, “Annie Macaulay, we love youuu.”
Annie, who still goes by Annie Idibia on Instagram, has yet to publicly comment on the separation.
