Billar Stoner is stepping into a new era of his music journey. With a fresh single ready to drop and an EP currently in the works, the rising artist is setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting run. Known for his unique sound and raw storytelling, Billar has been steadily carving out his space in the scene, and this new project is a testament to his growth and vision.

In this interview, we’ll dive into the inspiration behind his upcoming single, explore the creative process shaping his EP, and get a closer look at the drive that fuels his artistry. From sound to story, Billar Stoner is ready to share what’s next.

Q1. Who or what inspires your sound and style as an artist?

“My sound is inspired by my way of life. It’s a reflection of the streets I’ve walked, the wins and the losses, and how I see the world. Growing up, the music I listened to shaped me, but my own experiences gave it weight. Every scar, every lesson, every moment of pressure I’ve faced — that’s what you hear in my sound”

Q2. How would you describe your musical journey up until now?

It’s been a phase of growth and discovery. I’ve always been musically inclined since I was young, but now I’m learning more about the deeper side of the craft and pouring those experiences into my sound. Every step feels like I’m sharpening who I am as an artist — still growing, still learning, but always moving forward.

Q3. What makes your music stand out in today’s scene?

“What makes my music stand out is my perspective on life. Growing up, I was influenced by hip hop and Afrobeats legends, but it’s the life I’ve lived that shaped my sound into something unique. The streets, the lessons, the pressure — they gave me a voice that’s both raw and reflective. I carry passion for the craft, but also a hunger to say things in a way people can feel, not just hear. My music is a fusion of where I come from, what I’ve survived, and where I’m going — that’s what sets it apart in today’s scene.

Q4. What message or energy do you want people to associate with the name “Billar Stoner”?

Billar Stoner represents boss energy — the mindset that if you want it, you can get it, and no setback can stop you from finding your path or righting your wrongs. It’s about being family-oriented, taking care of your people, standing on loyalty and realness. I want my name to carry the energy of resilience and power, but also the reminder that true strength is built on how you treat those around you.

Q5. Looking ahead, where do you see yourself in the next two years as an artist?

“In the next two years, I see myself with a strong fan base — people who connect deeply with my sound and my story. I want to be able to gather them in shows where they can feel the rawness and realness of my music live, not just through headphones. For me, it’s not only about streams, it’s about building a movement, creating moments that inspire and unite. Two years from now, I believe Billar Stoner and the DB Way will be a global wave — taking over the world together with the fans who started this journey with me.

Q6. Can you tell us about your upcoming single dropping on October 29th — what’s the story behind it?

“The single is called Pressure, and it’s really a reflection of what I’ve lived and what I stand for. It’s about how pressure shapes you — the weight, the scars, the silence, and also the wins that come after. The story behind it is simple: I took my experiences, the streets I came from, the energy of my lifestyle, and I poured it all into the music. It’s not just a song to me, it’s a statement — that no matter what you face, pressure can either break you or build you, and I chose to let it build me.”

Q7. What was your creative process like while making this track?

“For me it was all motivation. I had just gotten back from a vacation, and the whole time on that trip all I could think about was recording. As soon as I got back, I called up a producer and locked in — we ended up recording 10 songs straight, and this single was one of them. It was pure energy, no overthinking, just letting the music flow.”

Q8. How would you describe the sound and vibe of this single compared to your past work?

“This single leans more into an Afrobeats vibe, while my earlier work was more trap-heavy or a fusion of trap and Afrobeats. With this track I wanted to show that I can tap fully into Afrobeats while still sticking to my sound and my craft. It’s me doing my thing, staying versatile, and proving that no matter the vibe, I can make it real and make it mine

Q9. What do you hope listeners feel when they hear this song for the first time?

“I want them to feel the pressure in every sense. From the start it’s raw energy, no holding back, no limits. The verses carry my reality — the grind, the flex, the scars, the DB Way — while the hook brings a vibe you can move to and celebrate. I want people to feel both the hunger and the confidence, the rawness and the rhythm. It’s not just a song, it’s the pressure turned into sound.

Q10. Why did you choose October 29th as the release date — does it hold any special meaning?

“October 29th felt like the right time. It’s the perfect moment to close out the year with a strong statement and set the tone for what’s coming next. The date itself represents a transition for me — stepping into a new season, a new level, and letting the world feel the pressure I’ve been building. I wanted it to be more than just a drop, I wanted it to mark a shift.”

Q11. You’re also working on an EP — what can you share about it so far?

“The EP is a deeper look into my world. Pressure is just the introduction, but the project as a whole will show different sides of me and will let people feel the different emotions I’ve lived through. Some tracks carry the pain, some carry the hunger, and some celebrate the victories. I want listeners to not just hear me, but understand me, and connect with the real life behind the music.

Q12. How does this single tie into the bigger picture of your EP?

“Pressure is the heartbeat of the EP. It sets the foundation for the rest of the project. Some songs dive into the struggles, others celebrate the wins, and a few capture the moments of reflection in between. Pressure is the entry point, the doorway that lets people step into my world before they see the full picture, it is the starting point, the spark that lights up the bigger story I’m telling with the EP.

Q13. Will the EP explore new sounds or themes we haven’t heard from you before?

“Yes, definitely. The EP will carry my core sound — that raw, street-rooted energy — but it also pushes into new spaces. I’m experimenting with different vibes, blending hip hop and Afrobeats in my own way, and tapping into emotions I haven’t fully shared before. Some songs are harder, some are more reflective, and a few carry a completely different mood. It’s me showing growth — not just giving one side of Billar Stoner, but opening up the full range of what I can do

Q14. Are there any collaborations we should be looking forward to on the EP?

“I’ve been building with a few artists, but for this first EP my focus is on introducing my sound and my story. There may be a surprise feature or two, but the main goal is for people to connect with Billar Stoner directly, raw and unfiltered. As I grow and the movement expands, I definitely see more collaborations coming — but this project is about laying the foundation and making sure the world understands my voice first.

Q15. What stage are you currently at with the EP, and when can fans expect it?

“The music is ready, but I don’t want to rush the moment. I believe an EP is more than just tracks — it’s a full experience, and I want to give the fans the right build-up before it drops. What I can say is that it’s coming early next year, and when it does, it won’t just be music — it’ll be a statement. I want people to feel like they’ve been waiting for it, and when it arrives, it hits even harder.”
