Bullion Records and GYC drop debut EP A Billion Things
Bullion Records, one of Nigeria’s fastest-rising record labels, has officially launched its highly anticipated debut EP, A Billion Things. The project showcases the sensational talent of Fortune Kingsley, popularly known as GyC, and marks a pivotal moment in his career and the label’s evolution.
Released today, Wednesday, 12 December 2024, the five-track EP features an eclectic mix of hits, including Mailo, Shayo, Woman, Kpang Kpang, and Kokan Aye. The standout track, Kokan Aye, features collaborations with Nigerian music heavyweights 9ice and Eedris Abdul Kareem, further establishing GyC’s presence in the music industry.

Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, Chairman and CEO of Bullion Records, described A Billion Things as a testament to inspiration and artistry.
“Every track on this album is not only a masterpiece but also delivers profound messages. From themes of love and resilience to societal consciousness and celebration, A Billion Things resonates with listeners on multiple levels,” Ajadi said.
The EP owes its diverse yet cohesive sound to some of Nigeria’s top producers. YoungSmith produced the hits Shayo, Woman, and Mailo, while Philkeyz brought his electrifying touch to Kpang Kpang. Shockerbeat rounded off the album with his signature production style on Kokan Aye.

Elegbede Ajibola, Entertainment Director at Bullion Records, highlighted the label’s strategic timing for the release.
