Following the rapid success of his studio album, ‘Lady Lady’ in 2018, American musician, Masego has released a new project titled ‘Lady Lady (A.D.M Remixes)’. The album also includes a reworked version of his previous hit single, ‘African Lady’, by Nigerian producer, TXMO.
A.D.M. (Africa Dance Music) is Nigeria’s first dance music collective, focused on introducing the world to Africa’s variants of dance music. The label was launched and founded by acclaimed music producer and DJ, Timi “TMXO” Aladeloba in 2017.
Jamaican born Masego is a rapper, singer, and DJ. His talent and multifaceted career has gained him critical acclaim both in the United States and around the globe. He fuses jazz, house, and trap music together to create a unique sound, which he has coined as, ‘Trap House Jazz’.
Masego is also a multi-instrumentalist, playing the piano, drums, and saxophone at a high standard. Fresh off his South African tour, Masego reached out to TMXO and A.D.M. to remix tracks from his debut album, ‘Lady Lady’. On the A.D.M Remixes, Masego’s original album gets completely revamped. The three-track project features remixes of Masego’s previous songs, “Old Age”, which was remixed by Nigerian producer DOZ, and ‘Lady Lady’, remixed by Nigerian producer Higo.
2018 was Masego’s breakout year. His debut album, ‘Lady Lady’ was released and has gone on to secure nearly 210 million global streams.
