Universal Music Group(UMG) and Boomplay are set for a partnership in African market based on the agreement signed by both groups today.

Based on the agreement, Boomplay will distribute music from UMG’s labels through its streaming and download platform in African markets like Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and Zambia.
This partnership allows users to have access to UMG’s list of both local and global recording artists ranging from Brenda Fassie, Wurld, J.Cole, Dr. Tumi, Nasty C, 6lack, Diana Ross, Hugh Masekela, Jon Bellion, Larry Gaaga, Tamia, Maroon 5,Eminem, Tekno, Post Malone, Nicki Minaj, Lady Zamar, Lil Wayne, Bob Marley, Aka & Anatii, TJAN, Jah Prayzah, Nonso Bassey, Mafikizolo, Cina Soul, Ella Mai, and Mr. Eazi.
