A music group, Shyne Band is set to hold a major concert in Abuja, tagged “The Big Concert”.

The concert is set to take place on November 10, 2024, at the prestigious Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, this exclusive concert will honour Igbo Highlife music with iconic performances and the debut of the “Classic Refix Project” EP.

The band which consists of a nine-man team of creative entertainers and is believed to bring new ideas to the music scene, by returning sweet memories of the past by recreating songs of great entertainment icons who are now only remembered by the legacy they left behind.

Shyne Band is led by a male vocalist, Mr Félix, and according to him, the group has blend of Afro-fusion and Jazz in their performances.

“Our music is a fusion of Afro vibes with hints of jazz and other genres. Renowned for our dynamic and lively presence, our band is known for the high-energy electric sets that cater to various events”, he said.

Shyne Band prides itself on an A-list in the extensive playlist that appeals to audiences of all ages saying it not only offers unique entertainment but leave a lasting memory in the minds of guests.

The upcoming The Big Concert is an exclusive annual event organized by the band and the 2024 edition is what has been described as the “first major concert”, which seeks to rejuvenate and modernize classic songs from music.

According to the Band, “This year’s theme focuses on Igbo Highlife music, celebrating the timeless tunes of the Oriental Brothers. With performances by Chike, TimiDakolo, and Shyne Band, the event promises to infuse new energy into these cherished songs while cultivating an atmosphere of elegance and refinement.”

The Band is seeking strategic investments ranging from N20m to N50m to support a successful event hosting which is aimed at providing therapy to several families and individuals who have been hit below the belt by protracted economic hardship in the country.
