Nigerian music stars Rema, Tems, and Ayra Starr have earned spots on Rolling Stone’s Top 100 Albums of 2024.
The list, released December 3, celebrates exceptional albums that defined the year, and features these artistes for their unique contributions to the music scene.

Rema, born Divine Ikubor, leads the trio with his second studio album, Heis, ranked 11th. Rolling Stone described it as a “unique, buzzy, and visceral” creation that keeps listeners engaged.
Tems, whose full name is Temilade Openiyi, followed at number 37 with her album Born in the Wild. The magazine praised it as a “physical and emotional listening experience,” cementing her reputation for delivering soulful, heartfelt music.
Ayra Starr, often referred to as the “Celestial Being,” secured the 53rd spot with her album The Year I Turned 21.
