Shaboozey nominated for four categories for Grammys Awards 2025
Collins Obinna Chibueze, known professionally as Shaboozey has been nominated for four categories for 2025 Grammys Awards.
The categories he got nominated for are Song of the Year, Best New Artiste, Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song.
Although from Nigerian descent, Shaboozey is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and also a record producer.
The song which got him this nomination is the single A Bar Song (Tipsy) which was released this year, 2024.
The nominees in Song of the Year category with Shaboozey are BIRDS OF A FEATHER by Billie Eilish, Die With A Smile by Lady Gaga ft Bruno Mars and Fortnight by Taylor Swift ft. Post Malone and others.
Also, he got nominated alongside Benson Boone, Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, Khruangbin, RAYE, Chappell Roan and Teddy Swims for Best New Artiste of the year category.
Shaboozey gained initial attention for his 2018 song Start a Riot which was included on the soundtrack to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

In 2024, the 29-year-old collaborated with Beyoncé on two tracks from her eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter.
His stage name, Shaboozey, was got from people mispronouncing his dialectical name— Chibueze.
The Virginia born has released many singles such as Jeff Gordon and others. Currently, he has three studio album to his name with Lady Wrangler as his debut, Cowboys Live Forever, Outlaws Never Die as second and his third studio album, Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going, was released on May 31, 2024.
