‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Coming To Theaters

“Spider-Man: No Way Home” has officially been concluded and will be released exclusively in theaters on Friday.
The reactions to the MCU’s latest entry are all over the internet. Reviews by critics and social media responses are beginning to surface. These reactions have been nothing but praises for the multiverse mash-up featuring Tom Holland’s friendly neighborhood superhero.
Jon Watts the director returns to direct “No Way Home” after working on previous “Spider-Man” entries “Homecoming” and “Far From Home.” The newest franchise begins after Spider-Man’s identity as Peter Parker has been revealed to the world.
Peter then turns to Doctor Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, who casts a spell to make the world forget that he is Peter Parker. The plot twist is that the spell goes wrong, breaking open the multiverse.
The MCU is taken over by “Spider-Man” villains from different realities, including Electro played by Jamie Foxx, Green Goblin played by Willem Dafoe, Dr. Otto and Octavius played by Alfred Molina. Other returnees for “Spider Man” include Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau and J.K. Simmons.
Variety chief film critic Peter Debruge called the latest “Spider-Man” “a clever meta-adventure” . He went on to say that “audiences who’ve tuned out [of the ‘Spider-Man’ films] along the way will be rewarded for giving this one a shot.”
Another film critic said Nick Schager offered a positive review saying “the MCU’s best Spidey movie by a mile.”
Amelia Emberwing’s review for IGN described the film as a “perfect harmony of a Saturday morning cartoon and the deep drama that we’ve come to expect from these epics,”
There was less enthusiastic reactions like that of Playlist’s Rodrogo Perez Rodrigo who called the film a “very regressive, fan-service-y ‘Spider-Man’ legacy-sequel that’s overly nostalgic for its heydays.” in comparison to the similarly multiverse-focused “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” the critic wrote that the film is “nowhere near as successful or inventive.”
