Former Big Brother Naija housemate and media personality, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Symply Tacha, is set to begin a record-breaking feat today, Friday, October 10, 2025 as she attempts to enter the Guinness World Records for completing the highest number of makeovers within a short time.

The three day event, which is taking place at the J.Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History, Lagos Island, aims to showcase Tacha’s creativity and passion for beauty and empowerment.

According to her team, the goal is to achieve makeup on 150 models in record time, a challenge that has never before been attempted on such a scale in Nigeria.

Tacha, who gained fame after her appearance on Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem season in 2019, has since evolved into an entrepreneur, and media influencer. Known for her bold personality and commitment to excellence, she said the record attempt is not just about makeup artistry but also about “inspiring young women to dream beyond limitations.”

“This is more than a record attempt. It’s a statement that you can always rise above your past and create new stories of success,” she said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
