Nigerian fashion designer and content creator, Veekee James Atere, shades ladies with high standards.

On January 12, 2025, Veekee shared a short video call with her and her husband, displaying public affection towards each other. She captioned the video, “Queen of standards, dey play.”

While getting all loved up in the video, she wrote, “This could be you and somebody’s son, but you like your man tall and handsome with the perfect set of teeth, 100% financial responsibility. Impeccable dress sense, very spiritual yet with a touch of boyness. Heyaaa!” She closed up the caption with a laughing emoji.

Her video and the caption have gained many reactions from netizens. A fan wrote, “ Everyone with their choice, my dear… Don’t criticise others for their choice or decisions.”
Another netizen added: “Absolutely nothing wrong in setting standards; you set yours and got what you wanted. Not everyone wants to settle or manage, and that’s okay.”

That’s not all; a netizen also commented, “Girl, enjoy your marriage; what I want for myself is different from what you want for yourself. Why do you have to put it in our faces that he doesn’t possess all these things?”
