Uncle IB Kicks Off The Fiesta Period With A Thanksgiving Single ‘Mmesoma’ Featuring Emceeze
Uncle IB, a popular Nigerian musician, composer, and media influencer who is also known as Okafor Ifeanyichukwu, has released his latest song titled ‘Mmesoma,’ which features Emceeze.
“Mmesoma” encapsulates thanksgiving and the need to be content even in times of adversity. Emceeze was featured, and his talents added to the song’s charm.
The song is the follow-up to his critically acclaimed track “Balenciaga.” He has also stated that he will be releasing more tracks shortly.
Uncle IB was born in Agulu, Aniocha Local Government, Anambra State, Nigeria, where he grew up and received his schooling, just like other Nigerian music legends in their prime.
During his adolescence, he gained a genuine desire for music after hearing various Igbo Highlife and afrobeat songs, which also molded his musical skills.
His style features drums, trumpets, and other local instruments that have embossed his status with satisfying qualities adding to his deep-meaning lyrics.
His music, he claims, strives to repeat Igbo folklore and custom. He has stated that the purpose of his music is to alter the world through rhythm.
“Most of the time, I look forward to doing everything in my power to make the world a better place, and I’ve also attempted to persuade the world that my songs can stop the hate.
I compose music to instill the truth in everyone who listens to it, knowing that they will be set free. It’s simple: I stay in touch with Highlife’s strength.
Most of my forefathers did that, and I’m here to continue the tradition with the next generation.”
The Nigerian social media star rose with a boost and cooperated with his long-term music partner, deploying enough attributes on the track ‘Mmesoma,’ which has satiated a large number of Nigerian listeners.
