US Election: Davido excited after voting for first time in Georgia
Award-winning artiste David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has expressed excitement after casting his first-ever vote in a United States election.
Known for hits like ‘Aye’ and ‘FEM,’ Davido shared his excitement with fans on social media.
Posting on X, the 31-year-Old singer revealed his enthusiasm after voting, as Americans headed to the polls to decide between Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump in the US presidential race.

In the post, Davido showed off his “I’m a Georgia voter. I secured my vote!” sticker with a big smile, captioning it simply, “First-time voter!”
Davido, who was born on November 21, 1992, in Atlanta, Georgia, holds both Nigerian and American citizenship.
Before heading to the polls, he encouraged Americans to vote safely, posting, “Election day 🇱🇷 y’all be safe as you perform your constitutional rights.”
This voting moment adds to a string of big events in Davido’s life recently.
In December 2023, the Georgia General Assembly honoured him as an outstanding citizen.
