‘Wer My Balance?’: Davido plays coy amid $10m wedding performance rumors
Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reacted to reports claiming he received $10 million for performing at a royal wedding in India.
The chatter began after news surfaced that the Unavailable crooner was set to perform at the wedding of Indian media personality, Alkesh Thavrani, and his partner, Sheetal Mazda, in the stunning city of Udaipur.
Davido’s arrival in India caused quite a stir online, with clips of his grand welcome making the rounds on social media today, December 13, 2024.

In one of the videos, Davido was seen stepping off a luxury boat onto Indian soil, greeted with a lavish reception.
Flower petals were showered on him as he smiled, twirled in excitement, and soaked in the royal treatment.
Speculations went wild, with claims that the Nigerian superstar earned $10 million (about ₦17 billion) for his performance at the high-profile event.
Davido, known for his playful nature, addressed the rumour with humour. Taking to his Instagram story, he tagged the groom and wrote, “Wer my balance,” accompanied by laughing emojis.
