Nigerian musician Davido has lost another friend only days after the demise of Tagbo.

However, Hypeman Spesh said that “the older crowd had a hand” in the death of DJ Olu after he and a friend, Chime< were found lifeless in his car. He said this in a post on Snapchat, writing:

“No sickness, no complications, plus everything we could possibly want so WTF!!!!! It doesn’t add up sha! #StayWoke I know evil when I see it! The older crowd have a hand in this!!!!”

He didn’t stop there as he also posted a photo of the deceased on Instagram:

Following an allegation by former actress Caroline Danjuma, who had accused the artist of negligence, Davido took to his Snapchat to deny involvement in Tagbo’s demise after a heavy drinking bout.

He wrote:

“People are just wicked this what I get for treating everyone like my brother.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the sudden death of my friend Tagbo. First and foremost my sincere condolences and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.

I’ve been in this position before multiple times and also of recent.

But it is also disappointing that false information and complete lies have been put out there using my name as usual. Out of total respect for Tagbo and his family, I’ll not discuss this matter further for now.”

Olu Abiodun started as an underground DJ in 2010 while studying for his A-levels in England. He made his mark while headlining and djing numerous parties across the country. He also played in South Africa, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cotonou, Atlanta, Dubai and Miami.

He was signed as the official Dj for Davido’s HKN record label in 2011. OLu mixed different genres of music to create a unique sound, from afrobeat to hip-hop, oldies, basement music and so on.
