Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru has accepted the marriage proposal of music star Innocent “2Baba” Idibia.

In a video released on Thursday morning, 2Baba asked Natasha to marry him, putting an end to weeks of speculation about their relationship.

On Wednesday, the singer had publicly declared his love for Natasha, dismissing claims that she played a role in his separation from Annie Idibia.

“Hon. Natasha has been dragged, she has been called all sorts of names, she has been labelled as a home breaker,” he said.

“She is a young, brilliant, amazing woman, and she had nothing to do with what is happening between me and Annie in our marriage,” he added.

Natasha, who appeared emotional, did not respond immediately, but her reaction suggested she was overwhelmed by the moment.

Speculation had intensified after 2Baba was seen at the Edo State Assembly. A separate sighting of the duo at a Lagos club further fueled discussions.

Earlier, the singer had dismissed rumours with a cryptic post: “To Whom It May kwansighn. #I don yarn my truth. Feel free to continue alleging. We shall all be alright.”

As the news spread in the early hours of Thursday, social media buzzed with mixed reactions. While some congratulated the couple, others questioned the timing.

For 2Baba, however, there was no doubt. “Yes, I love her, she is amazing, she is cool, I want to marry her,” he said.
