Following the release of two solid studio albums – My Story and Ten – in as many years, the talented DJ Spinall is back with his strongest project yet: Dreams.
The 10-track LP features some of the best Nigerian artistes working today, including Wizkid, Reekado Banks, Ycee, Simi, Davido, Olamide and more. The album, thankfully, finds every featured artiste playing to their strengths – making it one of the most versatile and satisfying projects of the year.
The album starts off with “Thinking About You” featuring the undisputed afro-house queen Niniola and then smoothly flows into one of the project’s standout tracks, “Lifetime”, featuring the brilliant up-and-comer, WurlD.
As for standouts: Ycee, Simi, Wizkid, Davido and Harry Song all come away as best in show on their respective tracks, which should come as no surprise to people who’ve been paying attention to the solid work they’ve been putting out all year.
