The 2025 film awards season is in full swing and knowing where to watch the Oscar-nominated films can be daunting. There are twenty-five films up for nominations at the Oscars film awards 2025. This year’s top contenders are all streaming and showing on your favourite Apps, and in the theatres.
Emilia Pérez
“Emilia Pérez” (13 nominations) is Jacques Audiard’s audacious musical crime thriller about a Mexican drug lord who undergoes gender-affirming surgery leads with 13 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Karla Sofía Gascón. It’s available for stream on Netflix.
The Brutalist
“The Brutalist” (10 nominations) is Brady Corbet’s 215-minute postwar saga stars Adrien Brody as a noted architect and Holocaust survivor. The film is nominated for Best Picture and Best Actor and it’s currently showing in theatres.

Wicked
“Wicked” is Jon M. Chu’s vibrant adaptation of the popular musical features performances by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. With nominations including Best Picture and Best Actress, it’s available for rent or purchase on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV+.
“A Complete Unknown” (8 nominations) is James Mangold’s acclaimed Bob Dylan biopic, starring Timothée Chalamet, received nods for Best Picture and Best Actor. YoLLKan catch it in theatres.
“Conclave” is this pulpy, smart thriller about the selection of a new pope, featuring Ralph Fiennes. It can stream it on Peacock.
“Anora” (6 nominations) is Sean Baker’s Palme d’Or winner about a New York stripper’s rollercoaster romance is available for rent or purchase on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV+.
“Dune: Part Two” (5 nominations): Denis Villeneuve’s epic sequel is streaming on Max.
The Substance
“The Substance” (5 nominations) is Demi Moore’s turn in Coralie Fargeat’s body horror film and it is available on Amazon Prime Video.
Robert Eggers’ “Nosferatu” (4 nominations) is the remake of the 1922 silent vampire classic. It is currently available in theatres.
“I’m Still Here” is Brazilian film from Walter Salles. With three nominations. It is showing in theatres.
“Sing Sing” has three nominations. Colman Domingo stars in this film about an incarcerated man leading a theatre programme; available in theatres, too.
The Wild Robot
“The Wild Robot” (3 nominations) is Chris Sanders’ charming adaptation of Peter Brown’s book. It is available for rent or purchase on Amazon Prime Video.
“The Apprentice” has two nominations. Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong star in this film about Donald Trump and his lawyer Roy Cohn. the film is available for rent or purchase on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV+.
“Flow” has two nominations. Flow is a wordless Latvian animated film and it’s streaming on Max.
“Nickel Boys” (2 nominations) is RaMell Ross’s adaptation of Colson Whitehead’s novel. It’s currently in theatres.
Jesse Eisenberg’s tragicomic film, “A Real Pain” (2 nominations) is streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
Shiori Itō’s documentary, “Black Box Diaries” has one nomination and is streaming on Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Sling TV, and Paramount+.
“A Different Man” (1 nomination): Sebastian Stan’s psychological thriller is available on Max.
The Girl with the Needle
“The Girl with the Needle” (1 nomination): This black-and-white psychological horror is available on Apple TV, Fandango, and Mubi.
“Gladiator II” (1 nomination): The sequel to the epic historical drama is currently in theatres and will be available on Paramount+.
“Inside Out 2” (1 nomination) is a sequel to the animated film “Inside Out” and it’s streaming on Disney+.

“Memoir of a Snail” (1 nomination): It is an animated feature that is available on AMC+, Philo, Sling TV, and YouTube TV.
“No Other Land” (1 nomination): This acclaimed documentary is currently in limited theatres.
“Porcelain War” has just one nomination. It’s a documentary film that can be watched in theatres.
“The Seed of the Sacred Fig” (1 nomination) is a political thriller. It’s available for viewing in theatres and on Amazon, Apple TV, Fandango, Google Play, and YouTube.
Lasty, “September 5”, with one nomination is available on Apple TV+.
