Yemi Alade’s fourth studio album titled Woman of Steel (W.O.S) is almost here.
The highly anticipated LP will be released on August 30, 2019.
W.O.S houses 15 tracks and has guest appearances from Duncan Mighty, Funke Akindele, Angélique Kidjo as well as popular American Rick Ross whom she teamed up with for the remix of her hit single “Oh My Gosh”.
Recently she was featured on Beyonce‘s compilation album ‘The Lion King: The Gift’. Prior to that, in an interview with Guardian Life, she had expressed her undying admiration for Beyonce and also her contentment in being herself; she said:
“I actually look up to Beyonce literally, but there can never be another her. We all need to focus on being a better version of ourselves instead of being another version of someone else, I think there is more growth in that.
I am in no way trying to downplay the greatness of the abovementioned (Beyonce) or the unmentioned. I am okay with being Yemi Alade, [in fact] I am so happy with being Yemi Alade because we are two amazing females representing the world of music.”
‘Woman of Steel’ is currently available on music stores.
