Organiser of annual Mark d’ ball Basketball Competition, Ighoche Mark said the 2015 competition will be used to set agenda for Nigeria’s basketball.

A statement released by the competition’s Director of Media and Publicity, James Oche quotes Mark, as saying that the 2015 edition of the competition scheduled to run from Dec. 26 to Dec. 31 would attract many players.

According to him many entertainment super stars from various parts of the world will also grace the occasion.

It described the competition to hold in Otukpo, Benue State as the most prestigious and the most lucrative tournament in the country.

“The tournament is aimed at removing children off the street and placing them in scholarship programmes that will develop their talents.

“The tournament will also enable the youths to build successful sports careers as it will create an avenue for their empowerment and motivation,’’ the statement added.
