The Alumni Association of the National Institute, Lagos (AANI), pays its respects to the late President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a statement signed by Omoba Tunde Ajibulu, mni, Publicity Secretary for the Alumni Association of the National Institute, AANI Lagos, on July 14, 2025, the late former Nigerian President was described as a stalwart leader who left an enduring legacy on Nigeria’s history.
The statement read, “His unwavering dedication to democracy, stability, and progress inspired a nation and earned him a revered place in our collective memory.
“We remember his courageous leadership, unrelenting fight against corruption, and tireless efforts to improve the lives of Nigerians. His legacy will continue to guide us as we strive to build a better future for our country.
“As members of AANI Lagos, we salute his vision for a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria and his efforts to fortify our institutions. We offer our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the Nigerian people, praying for his soul’s eternal rest.
“May his memory serve as a beacon, inspiring future generations to serve with integrity, passion, and dedication to the nation’s progress. Farewell, Mr. President.”
