The African Democratic Congress (ADC), in a communiqué yesterday following its National Working Committee (NWC) meeting in Abuja on October 19, which focused on the forthcoming Ondo State governorship election and strategies for repositioning the party, while commending President Muhammadu Buhari and all those involved for their efforts that led to the release of 21 of the Chibok girls kidnapped by Boko Haram, called for their safe reunion with their relatives soon.

A statement from the office of its National Chairman, Chief Ralphs Okey Nwosu, announced the appointment of some state chairmen- Mr. Ignatius Nlem (Imo); Alhaji Manzo Ibrahim (Taraba); Mr. Henry Brisbe (Bayelsa); and Alhaji Tijani Maina (Nasarawa)- as members of the Strategic Reorganisation Committee to generate new ideas from states to enhance the current work of the Standing Committee, headed by the National Secretary, Alhaji Said Abdullahi.

The statement said the NWC ratified the appointment of Mr. Israel Abah as the Assistant National Legal Adviser and Mr. Evaristus Iroegbu as Assistant National Auditor.
