The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has urged Nigerians to listen to God, through His servants, so that it can be well with the country.

Adeboye, who spoke, yesterday, during the monthly thanksgiving service at the RCCG Headquarters, The Throne of Grace, Ebute-Metta, where he prayed for medical practitioners, the barren and others, charged Nigerians to be righteous in the face of various challenges confronting the country so that they could be delivered of every trouble.

The General Overseer, who also spoke at the ongoing 40th yearly Holy Ghost convention of The Sword of the Spirit Ministries, Ibadan, held at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan (UI), with the theme, “The King of Glory,” said if the dignity, ability and glory of kings in the country could be restored, all would be well.

He lamented that there are problems in Nigeria because the power of the kings had been tampered with.

IN another development, General Secretary, Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN), Pastor Samuel Sanusi, has urged Nigerians to avoid mistakes of the past and not just vote in the coming elections but also ensure they vote credible candidates that will save Nigeria from collapsing.

He stated this, yesterday, during a press conference to declare open the 2022 five-day Marathon Bible reading, held at Williams Memorial Methodist Church, Ago-Ijaye, Ebute-Metta, Lagos.

He asked Nigerians to vote integrity, a change for a better Nigeria and avoid candidates who will take Nigeria backward again.

Also, Presbyter and minister in charge of the church, Very Rev. Adebayo Adewuyi, gave kudo’s to BSN for organising the Bible reading, which he said, would encourage many more to keep on reading the bible.

He also advised Nigerians of voting age to vote credible candidates for a change.
