Rising Afrobeats artiste, Wahab wants to leverage on the footprints of his two recent singles, Move Body and Paramode as a springboard to build his music legacy.

The young artiste believes that his singles are appetizers off his repertoire which is already in the works.

According to the Edo State-born artiste, his music oeuvre will resonate with all fans and lovers of good music regardless of demography since music is a universal language.

He reveals, “Ofcourse, my fans should expect a project from me soon. I’m coming with the fire and the bomb. It all depends on the mood. One thing I can say for now is that I have a great project coming on the way, something they would like and vibe to. This is the beginning of exciting things to come.”

According to him, “Move Body is my starting point. It’s my introduction song showing the world that I have what it takes to excel as an artiste. It is also a stepping stone to other great things that I have in store. The song is a vibe.

“I invited two of my friends and told them to work with me on a song idea. We went to the studio and started playing the beat. I had the chorus in my head. I put in the verse. It is produced by Chech and it was mixed by Bianozbeat.”

The first child in a family of five, the artiste whose real name is Wahab Sule hails from Agbede in Etsako West Local Government area in Edo State. He studied Computer Science Education at Auchi Polytechnic, Degree Programme (in Affiliation with Nnamdi Azikwe University, Awka). Wahad recalls how his music pivoted from his performance during his compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

He disclosed, “My most memorable performance is the one I had at NYSC Camp here in Lagos. I felt the love and joy. Even when they do not know the song, I saw some girls vibing to my performance the first time they heard it. That made me feel good.”

Wahab’s Afrobeats dream includes collaborating with “Burna, Wizkid and other great artistes out of Africa and the rest of the world.”

According to him, “Afrobeats is on the global map already. The best way to take Afrobeat to another level is through consistency and identity. We should not lose the culture element.

“It is our DNA. We should keep putting out great work for the whole world to see. We need to make them see who we are through our song. We are Africans and we are unique. Let’s not dilute it and I bet we will take over the whole world in a short while.”
