A’Ibom says Talent Hunt Foundation contributing to state devt

AKWA Ibom State Government has lauded Talent Hunt Foundation, saying its goals are in consonance with the state’s Arise Agenda on youth and entrepreneurial development.

Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, gave the commendation over the weekend in Uyo during a courtesy call on him in his office, by the Akwa Ibom Talent Hunt Foundation, Nigeria/USA.

Ememobong noted the Foundation’s arduous task of discovering budding talents and taking them off the streets to become men of integrity and income earners with legitimate means of livelihood.

The commissioner, who said the state government would continue to support development-oriented groups, pledged the support of the ministry in publicising the activities of the foundation, particularly the forthcoming Season 2 Talent Hunt, scheduled to take place in March this year.

Ememobong acknowledged the remarkable strides of the Consultant of the Talent Hunt Project, Mr Moses Eskor, adding that with a high flyer personality in the creative world like him, the foundation was sure to succeed and assured the foundation of his attendance of the Season 2 Talent Hunt Show with his management team.

Earlier, Eskor said the foundation, whose vision is to discover, develop and promote creative talents in Akwa Ibom State, was established by Bishop Daniel Jack, a US- based cleric and medical practitioner.

Eskor said the foundation’s objective is in line with the philosophy of the ARISE Agenda of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Bassey Eno, whose administration is poised to provide opportunities to talented and Industrious youth residents of Akwa Ibom State by taking them off the streets and growing them from grass to grace.
