The family of Aigbekaen has announced the passing of a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Sir Henry Aiyanyo Aigbekaen, who lived a remarkable life from 1930 till 2023, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, integrity, and love.

According to the family, a requiem mass will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 1.00 p.m.-2.00 p.m. at St. Mary Moorfield at 4-5 Eldon Street, London, EC2M 7LS.

A service of songs/reception will also be held on April 6, 2024, in Mayfair London at Ruben Hotel, 39, Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1W0PS, starting at 2.00 p.m. This will be followed with a vigil mass for family, friends and acquaintances in Nigeria, to be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, by 4.00 p.m. at St. Gabriel The Archangel’s Catholic Church, Benin-Sapele Road, Oka, Benin City, Edo State.

However, a funeral mass will be held at 10.00 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024, at the same venue with a private interment to be followed by a thanksgiving service at 9.00 a.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2024, at the same church.
