Amid rife speculation over the health status of President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state yesterday refuted reports that governors were summoned for an emergency meeting in Abuja to discuss the issue.

“There is no iota of truth in the rumour making the round that governors were summoned to Abuja for an emergency meeting to discuss the health status of our dear President. We should desist from circulating callous insinuations aimed at denting the image of prominent citizens.

“Instead of peddling unfounded rumours, I will advise Nigerians to continue to pray for the President and other leaders, including governors, because their well-being is tied to the well-being of the people.

“The rigours of governance require that leaders take time off to relax and recoup for the daunting challenges ahead of them. We should be fair to our leaders, because they are also human beings with feelings,” he stated.

The governor, who spoke yesterday in Ibadan, clarified that his trip to Abuja was for a scheduled meeting with World Bank officials. He went on: “It is pertinent to state here that the President only went for a break and to use the opportunity to undergo routine medical check-up. To the best of my knowledge, he was not even admitted into any hospital for any ailment.

“There is nothing wrong with the President taking some time off to rest and meet with some people abroad unofficially. I am reaffirming the fact that our President is hale and hearty.”

Recalling the negative online comments that had trailed his recent interaction with the protesting students of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAIUTECH), Ogbomoso, Ajimobi said it was high time the medium was regulated to check abuses.

Acknowledging the importance of the new media for social mobilisation and creation of awareness on developmental issues, policies and other positive intents, he admitted that the medium was also being abused by some individuals.

The reason we are not where we should be, the reason why other countries look at us as one of the worst country in the world, the reason why as a Nigerian we must not fail to say that nor-matter what, we all will stand and answer questions to our doings. Looking at the president and his wife, the picture tells you that truly, as a country, we need exchange of hands in our leadership. My leader has my destiny in his hands, Nigeria our destiny in the hands of the current president is not safe.

Buhari is simply too old and unfit, both medically and cerebrally, to remain as nigeria’s president. He should either resign or be impeached. There is so much work to be done, fixing nigeria, that this man should not be allowed to come and waste our time and the future of our children.
Even From the look on the wife’s face you can tell that she is not comfortable owning him up as husband.

Anyway the message is for the said Nigerians not Biafrans, all the same, someone in UK said the money spend for such hospital bill is more than enough to build class hospital anywhere at home, and the doctors that attends to the medical tourists in the UK are from the same territory at home- an example of the mess of those boasting to rule for 50 years with nothing to show for it, wasted Biafrans money etc., people of a disgrace Biafrans associated with for about 60 years, which has come to an end with Republic Of Biafra now in existence. Can they prove CNN wrong by allowing CNN access to the person to pray for? As I already said, either he is ill or healthy, dead or alive, it is very irrelevant as far as eastern region of Republic Of Biafra is concerned- he does not worth a single Biafran killed so far. BIAFRAN REVOLUTION WAR Diplomatic Bullets Crushed him and will crush any who stand on the way of Republic Of Biafra now in existence!

‘Constituted authority himself’. How did this man become governor of a state like Oyo the home of University of Ibadan that breeds men of knowledge and sound judgment. Ajimobi lacks knowledge, sound judgment and capacity to think and talk right. What a shame.

Professors, Engineers, Doctors always have to bow before illiterates and criminals in positions of Authority. They in turn bow to babalawos and pastor-lawos who in turn bow to graven images made of dead woods, and rocks. Such is the structural leadership in Africa. Don’t mind UI they actually breed men with knowledge to live to eat.
