A Special adviser on Communication and Strategy to the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi in Oyo State, Bolaji Tunji, has declared his intention to contest in the 2023 general elections.

Tunji, in a statement, said he would be contesting on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency after due consultations with all gatekeepers and stakeholders of the constituency.

He said his declaration was informed by the need to give dynamic, passionate, serious representation to his constituents, adding that he decided to throw his hat into the political ring to contribute his quota and deliver good governance to the people of Ogbomoso, Oyo State and Nigeria in general.

He said: “It is time to practise what we have always preached – relevant, impactful, responsive and exemplary governance.”

“The people of the constituency need able, capable, dynamic, passionate and serious representation, devoid of sentiments.”
