Akeredolu appoints new Head of Service
Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has approved the appointment of Mr. Oluwadare Aragbaiye as the new Head of Service (HoS) of the state public service.
A statement made available to journalists in Akure, yesterday, by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Segun Ajiboye, said the appointment was in recognition of Aragbaiye’s reliability and efficiency, adding that the approval of the appointment was in line with the provisions of Section 208, Sub-section 3 of the 1999 Constitution, as amended.
While congratulating the new HoS, Akeredolu expressed optimism that he would provide the right leadership for the state public service to complement the efforts of the administration and reposition the public service.
Prior to his appointment, Aragbaiye was the Permanent Secretary, Government House and Protocol. He would be sworn in at 11am on Monday at the International Events and Cultural Center (The Dome), Akure.
