Alao-Akala urges police to expose man with 500 PVCs

While commending the people of Ogbomoso for their courage in exposing the culprits, Dr Balogun also urge politicians particularly members of Labour Party to be vigilant and immediately report any unholy activities from the opposition that may affect the conduct of free and fair election.

Former governor of Oyo State and Labour Party governorship candidate, Otunba Christopher Alao-Akala has called on the police and other security operatives in to ensure the man arrested with over 500 Permanent Voters Card (PVC) is exposed and brought to book.

Speaking through the Director General of the Akala/Alli campaign organization, Dr Kola Balogun Campaign organization, he alleged that, “It is obvious that our opponent in both the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are seriously jittery about the coming election and that is why they are desperately looking for means of manipulating and causing mayhem in Alao Akala’s stronghold’.

“They knew the people of Ogbomoso will not vote for any other party apart the party of Alao Akala which is Labour Party and that is why they are desperately doing everything to ensure that many people are disenfranchise by collecting the cards of the electorate through fraudulent means”.

While commending the people of Ogbomoso for their courage in exposing the culprits, Dr Balogun also urge politicians particularly members of Labour Party to be vigilant and immediately report any unholy activities from the opposition that may affect the conduct of free and fair election.

In a similar development, the campaign organization also frowned at the attack on members of Labour Party including Hon Olatunji Olumide Akinbiyi a House of Assembly Candidate in Afijio Local government

The DG while warning against incessant attack on members of the party also called on the security operatives to fish out the attackers and let them face the wrath of law.

Also, Prince Niran Adeyoju , Coordinator of Team Akala a support group for Alao Akala who spoke at the media briefing admonish the people of Oyo state to further ensure the they are sensitive about happenings in their environment

“As we approach the election period the desperate people in the opposition parties are planning to scuttle the chances of Alao Akala in his stronghold because he is consider as a great threat to them and we are also conscious of the fact that they have map out strategies to be violent in their approach so we want the security operatives to also monitor the activities of the opposition and ensure anybody found wanting are brought to book

“In Akala’s camp, our mantra is one man one vote, with this we are very sure of victory at the poll because our candidate is the best among the equals”
