Alonge emerges MPN candidate for Kogi guber
The Mega Party Nigeria (MPN) yesterday picked Methuselah Gallio Alonge as its standard bearer for the Novembwr 16, 2019 Kogi State gubernatorial poll during its primary election.
Representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and Department of State Service (DSS), among others supervised the exercise.
A statement issued by the party at the end of the exercise, disclosed that the MPN conducted its primary in accordance to INEC guidelines, ahead of the November 16 governorship election.
The statement noted that Alonge emerged unopposed at the party’s congress, which held at the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Secretariat in Lokoja.
It added that Chairman of the state chapter of IPAC, Iliyas Badanga, anchored the governorship primary.
